An initial enquiry can be simple. Formal documents must match the actual installation.
01 | Start with the basics
For an initial quote, provide the services, Hong Kong district, contact name and phone number. Use the common-issue buttons to describe the work. The full address, photos and existing documents can follow later.
02 | Confirm owner details before certification
The official WR1 form asks for the installation address, owner's name or organisation, phone number, and correspondence address if different. The enquiry contact may not be the installation owner . Verify this when preparing formal documents.
03 | Leave technical verification to the electrician
This includes the inspected scope, installation description and drawings, largest switchgear amperes and volts, and phase details. Select “Not sure” if needed. Do not open the distribution board yourself.
04 | Bring existing records if available
Existing single-line drawings, previous certificates and scope records are useful references. If records are missing, assess the site verification and document preparation needed. Website illustrations are not formal drawings for your project.
