WR1.HK is operated by AL-TOUCH SOLUTIONS LIMITED 一大方案有限公司 for enquiries and referrals. The REC you appoint directly contracts, quotes and charges for electrical work; the responsible REC / REW handles testing and WR1 documents. This is not an official EMSD, CLP or HK Electric website.
WR1.HK provides information, enquiries and referrals. The platform does not contract electrical work or collect project payments. You agree the quote, contract and payment directly with the REC, which arranges qualified REWs for inspection and testing and is responsible for the applicable WR1 documents.
Responsibility for a formal WR1
A formal WR1 must be supported by the relevant fixed electrical work and actual inspection and test results. The responsible Registered Electrical Worker (REW) must work within a valid grade and permitted scope, sign the certificate, and obtain the relevant Registered Electrical Contractor’s (REC) endorsement.
Responsible personnel must verify the installation, scope, registration details, dates, records and applicable declarations. Work involving parts of an installation requires the appropriate supporting documents, including WR1(A) where applicable. An online form cannot replace site work.
Enquiries, quotations and timing
Agree the quotation, works contract and payment directly with the REC. Quotes and receipts should identify that REC, its registration, work scope and payee. WR1.HK does not collect project deposits or balances. Receipt, internal assignment or acceptance of a referral does not constitute customer appointment or a platform works contract.
Submitting an enquiry, accepting an initial quotation or paying does not establish completed inspection, satisfactory testing, electricity-supply approval or an issued WR1. Scope, charges, remedial work, retesting and attendance arrangements require separate confirmation for the actual project.
We do not offer inspection-free certificates or advance guarantees of a pass, approval or same-day issue. Any necessary remedial work must be addressed first.
Tools, draft PDFs and example diagrams
Tools organise details, preview simplified single-line diagrams and export PDF drafts. Supplied information can be reused, but responsible personnel must verify technical details, protective arrangements, design and test results. A draft is not an issued certificate.
Public trials and residential samples use fictional information. Circuit, current, voltage and other values explain the format; they are not design, equipment-selection or installation advice. Public examples leave inspection declarations, dates and signatures blank. Use fictional details when trying them.
The tool does not collect or apply stored signatures. After checking the actual work, responsible and authorised people must sign and endorse formal documents under the applicable procedures. Do not pre-sign blank certificates.
Separate supply and subdivided-unit requirements
WR1 is not a utility’s approval for supply connection or meter installation. Confirm CLP or HK Electric’s application, inspection and document requirements through its own procedures.
WR1 for a subdivided unit does not establish Basic Housing Unit recognition, approval for alterations or lawful letting. Building, fire-safety and other applicable requirements need separate checks.
Images, branding and sources
Images illustrate service situations and document formats; they are not records of completed work, issued certificates or product approvals. Official form excerpts and sample diagrams identify their sources and uses separately.
WR1.HK branding identifies the website and its own content. It is not a government, utility or safety-certification mark. Refer to the official version of any prescribed form.
Personal data, consent and device copies
Read the privacy and data-use notice for purposes, recipients, required and optional details, retention and access or correction arrangements. Website submission and WhatsApp are separate. Review the purposes and recipients and actively confirm consent before transmission; WhatsApp still requires Send to be pressed in the conversation.
Staff tools may save recovery drafts on the device and allow project backups to be downloaded. Avoid handling real customer details on shared devices and protect devices and downloaded copies. Cancelling an assignment or disabling an account on the server cannot automatically retrieve copies already saved or downloaded.
The retention rule for unconverted website enquiries without project records is deletion 90 days after the last follow-up. Project and statutory records follow their applicable purposes and retention duties; the 90-day rule cannot simply be applied to them. Actual data-protection arrangements require continuing verification and review.
Current Mainland submission restriction
Online personal-data submissions from people currently in Mainland China are not open. The operator’s representative and related personal-data arrangements remain to be verified. Read the information guides without entering or sending personal details in the forms.
Supporting the +86 telephone format does not mean Mainland submissions are open, and a telephone code does not establish the submitter’s location. Opening will require the relevant arrangements, an updated notice and a separate decision. A single consent dialog cannot replace applicable duties.
